Former Big Brother Naija Season 10 housemates Otega and Kayikunmi have opened up about their journeys in the house and shared predictions for who might take home the grand prize.
In a candid interview with Yanga FM, Otega revealed that his decision to join BBNaija was sparked by a spiritual encounter.
“Last year I was in Benin, coming back to Lagos with my guy when one woman came to me and said, ‘Bros, I get message for you.’ I thought she wanted to borrow money, but she said no, that God asked me to go for Big Brother,” he recounted.
Initially skeptical, Otega said he brushed off the message until a friend sent him the application link this year.
“I just filled it. I didn’t argue,” he said, adding that his goal was visibility, not desperation.
“I am a chef before I entered the house… Before, you cannot call me to Yanga FM, but now people can hear me.”
When asked about potential winners, Otega named Imisi and Thelma as top contenders.
“Imisi has been giving gbas gbos since day one, while Thelma never watered down anything,” he said.
Kayikunmi echoed the sentiment, placing his bet on Imisi.
“She caught everyone’s attention from the first day. Her makeup, the way she talks, the way she acts – everything is strategic,” he said.
Still, he acknowledged the unpredictability of the show:
“God has his own and Big Brother has his own too.”
Both ex-housemates emphasized the importance of authenticity.
“If you know what you are going there for, when you see something else it will not enter your eyes,” Otega concluded.
Their reflections come shortly after their eviction in Week 3 of the show, leaving fans buzzing about who will ultimately emerge victorious.
