Nigerian social media personality Ayomiposi Oluwadahunsi, popularly known as Mandy Kiss, has vowed to go ahead with her controversial plan to sleep with 100 men in 24 hours, despite an outright rejection from Guinness World Records (GWR).
Mandy, who announced the stunt earlier this month, said the attempt would take place on October 30, 2025, in Ikorodu, Lagos.
The declaration immediately sparked outrage across social media, with many Nigerians questioning the morality, legality, and health implications of such an event.
In response to the viral announcement, Guinness World Records issued a statement distancing itself from the attempt.
“This is not a record we monitor,” the organisation said on its official page, stressing that it does not endorse or recognise records involving sexual activity, as they fail to meet its standards for being measurable, verifiable, safe, and ethical.
Undeterred, Mandy Kiss doubled down in a video message, insisting she would proceed regardless of GWR’s stance.
“Nobody can stop me from sleeping with 100 men. I’m the owner of my body and I’ll record it myself if you don’t,” she declared.
She further claimed to have secured participants and finalised arrangements, including ticketed entry, though no official venue has been confirmed.
The announcement has dominated online discussions, with critics condemning it as reckless and damaging to Nigeria’s image, while others dismissed it as a publicity stunt aimed at boosting her profile as an internet celebrity.
Observers note that the controversy comes amid a wave of record-breaking fever in Nigeria, where citizens have attempted feats ranging from cooking marathons to endurance challenges.
However, Mandy’s proposed stunt has been widely criticised as falling outside the spirit of creativity and achievement that typically defines record-setting attempts.
