Tensions flared in the Big Brother Naija Season 10 house on Thursday night as housemate Doris alleged that fellow contestant Dede is romantically involved with a wealthy older man who is financially supporting her lifestyle.
During a kitchen conversation with housemates Sultana and Sabrina, Doris claimed she had heard persistent rumors about Dede being a “sugar baby.”
“Someone was like, ‘Where do you think she got the money from to buy all these clothes and hair? She doesn’t work,’” Doris said.
“They said she is an actual sugar baby and her boyfriend is one old big shot like that. I think Sabrina said it too.”
Sultana and Sabrina backed the claim, with Sultana suggesting that Dede has feelings for fellow housemate Jason Jae but is avoiding a public relationship with him because her alleged sugar daddy might be watching the show.
She added that Dede and Jason had agreed to keep their romance discreet until after the show ends.
Sabrina also weighed in, saying she had warned another housemate, Kola – one of Dede’s apparent love interests – that Dede was using him and other male contestants for attention, and would not commit to any of them due to her outside relationship.
The allegations have stirred gossip and speculation among viewers and housemates alike, adding another layer of drama to the already heated dynamics in the BBNaija house.
