‘Medical Doctors are Trained Not to Heal,’ – Jim Iyke Claims

Nollywood actor James Ikechukwu Esomugha, popularly known as Jim Iyke, has stirred public debate following controversial remarks about the medical profession and the pharmaceutical industry.

In a recent interview with reality TV star Teddy A on the Echoo Room podcast, the actor alleged that medical doctors are not trained to heal patients, but rather to sustain a system driven by profit.

“Medical doctors are basically trained all through their career not to heal,” Jim Iyke claimed.

“It’s big pharma business. If they tell you what to take and they heal you, you’re not a customer anymore and they won’t make money. That’s a trillion-dollar industry.”

He further criticized the widespread use of genetically modified organisms (GMOs) and what he described as “lies” in orthodox medicine, suggesting that the healthcare system benefits more from prolonged treatment than from complete recovery.

“There’s a GMO everywhere. The orthodox medicines; the lies. If I say it anywhere, it upsets them [medical practitioners],” he added.

Jim Iyke’s comments have since gone viral, drawing mixed reactions across social media.

While some viewers echoed concerns about the commercialization of healthcare, others criticized the actor for promoting misinformation and undermining the work of medical professionals.
