Former Big Brother Naija star and actress Victoria Iye, popularly known as Vee, is getting candid about love, dating, and the emotional minefield of choosing a life partner.
In a recent video broadcast, Vee didn’t hold back as she shared her personal mission: steering clear of relationships that could lead to regret, especially when it comes to motherhood.
“It is my mission in life to avoid the wrong man getting me pregnant,” she said.
“I know myself, I know what I’m like, and I try to avoid certain situations that would put me in a state of psychosis.”
Vee, who’s known for her bold personality and unfiltered honesty, admitted that dating in Lagos is no walk in the park.
She expressed concern about ending up with a partner who might later disrespect her, especially in the context of co-parenting.
“I’m passionate about not getting f*cked over,” she added.
“Maybe that’s what stops me from finding unapologetic love.”
She also reflected on the importance of learning from others’ experiences, saying she doesn’t need to go through heartbreak herself to know what won’t work.
“You can’t know someone 100 percent, but you can try your best,” Vee said.
“Especially with the internet—people are sharing their experiences. I don’t need to experience something to know it’s not going to work for me.”
Her words struck a chord with many viewers, especially women navigating the complexities of modern relationships and self-protection.
