Billionaire businessman Femi Otedola delivered a heartfelt and humorous message to his daughter, Temi Otedola, and her husband, Afrobeats star Mr Eazi (real name Tosin Ajibade), during their wedding reception in Iceland, urging the newlyweds to embrace their union with love, respect, and independence.
Temi and Mr Eazi tied the knot in August 2025 in a private ceremony set against the scenic backdrop of Iceland, marking the final leg of their three-part wedding celebration that began in Monaco and continued with a traditional Yoruba ceremony in Dubai.
In a now-viral video from the Iceland reception, Otedola praised the couple’s bond and entrepreneurial synergy, describing their union as “made in heaven.”
He commended Mr Eazi’s character and family background, calling him “a very great guy, a blessed guy,” and advised Temi to fully step into her role as a wife.
“You have to succumb to the whims and caprices of your husband. Okay? He’s your husband, he’s your boss,” Otedola said with a smile.
“There’s no more dad, don’t call me up.”
He went on to celebrate their compatibility, noting that both Temi and Mr Eazi are driven entrepreneurs.
“You match each other. It was made in heaven. For Tosin, you will go places,” he added.
The wedding, attended by close family and friends, also featured tributes from other prominent figures, including Aliko Dangote, who lauded Mr Eazi’s business acumen and predicted the couple could one day become “the richest people on earth”.
