Global music icon and business mogul Rihanna has welcomed her third child, a baby girl, with her partner, rapper A$AP Rocky.
The singer announced the news on Wednesday via Instagram, sharing a tender photo of the newborn wrapped in a pink blanket.
She revealed the baby’s name as Rocki Irish Mayers and confirmed that she was born on September 13, 2025.
The couple are already parents to two sons, RZA Athelston Mayers, born in 2022, and Riot Rose Mayers, born in 2023. With Rocki’s arrival, the family of five continues their tradition of giving their children names beginning with the letter “R.”
Rihanna first revealed her third pregnancy in May during her appearance at the 2025 Met Gala, where she debuted her baby bump in a striking designer look.
The Grammy-winning artist has long spoken about her desire for a large family. In a 2020 interview with British Vogue, she said:
“I’ll have kids – three or four of ‘em. The only thing that matters is happiness. That’s the only healthy relationship between a parent and a child. That’s the only thing that can raise a child truly, is love.”
Rihanna, 37, and A$AP Rocky, 36, were longtime friends before confirming their romance in 2021. Since then, the pair have become one of the entertainment industry’s most admired couples.
Rocky has often spoken about his admiration for Rihanna, once calling her “the love of my life” in a GQ interview. In another interview with Vogue, he described his love for her as “internal, external, infinite, the past, the future.”
With the arrival of their daughter, the couple’s dream of expanding their family has come true, marking yet another milestone in their journey together.
